Developing Your Eye: Day 3 – Water

Today’s theme of Developing Your Eye is “water”.

Now, when I think of water, my mind harks back to the days of travelling around Western Canada in the summer of 2017.

I was around water a lot: travelling on boats, volunteering on islands, taking a break by the sea, and jumping into lakes. I noted the clouds above and how the sun would glisten on the water. I even liked it when I spotted a little figure the water that made the photo far more interesting. My favourite times were the sunsets where I could get shadows in the water.

So, since I’m currently stuck in mainland England, I’m nowhere near water. Thus, since I took so many photos of water during my travels, I’m going to use those.

Travel Tuesday: There Is So Much of the World to See!

Since I’ve returned to the UK, people often ask me why I left Canada when my visa was up and didn’t apply for PR (Permanent Residency) instead.

And you’re pretty sure that the homeland you’ve returned to has not changed one bit.

Like those very same footsteps that Peter and his siblings returned to, only to remember that very sound was exactly the last thing they ran away from.

It’s weird, to say the least.

Theatre Review: Cuisine and Confessions

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Besides getting to watch the in-house shows on shift, one of the highlights of working as a theatre usher is that I get offered free theatre tickets to other plays.

Last night, I was offered tickets to see Cuisine and Confessions by The 7 Fingers at Mirvish Productions’ Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. I had no idea what I was getting in for, so it became the most unusual theatre show I’ve ever seen.
