2016 was weird; 2017 is weirder

Two months into 2017… and it seems that 2016 was not so bad after all!

Ok; 2016 was weird. Politically, economically, and personally. There was Brexit, a crazy US Election, and Middle Eastern wars intensifying to terribly ends. Not to forget, all the celebrity treasures that crossed over to the other side, including Alan Rickman, David Bowie, and Carrie Fisher.

It was one bad thing after another. On Channel 4’s The Last Leg, 2016 was given the annual ‘Dick of The Year’ award.

The day has come.

It’s Election Day in America, where the great nation decides whether they want Clinton in the White House, or Trump.

I’m with the former.

Wisdom Wednesday: Michelle Obama

This speech by First Lady, Michelle Obama, has made me misty-eyed, and has given me hope that perhaps everything will be all right, despite the potential downfall of the United States of America.

There is so much hope here in this speech, and she gives much food for thought, and widsom. This one that stuck out for me the most:

“Our motto is: when they go low, we go high.”

For wisdom Wednesday, let’s keep that in mind: go high, not low.

I want her to be the next President.
