One question has been plaguing me all today:
Why do many names of the countries in Eastern Europe end with -ia?!
I searched on Google, as I always do whenever I have a curiosity itch, but nothing turned up! (That said, I did learn why some countries do end in -stan – that was fun!)
I was amazed… finally, a question that Google cannot answer!
